TagMyDoc is proud to introduce its connectivity with Google Drive. When tagging a document, you’ll now be able to:

  • Tag any document saved on your Google Drive account.

  • Benefit from all TagMyDoc’s innovative features on all those documents.

  • - Have two new versions of your saved document: a PDF version of your document in My Drive, with -tagged appended to it, and another in your TagMyDoc account.

As an eco-friendly start-up, TagMyDoc thought of an inventive way to calculate its environmental footprint. That is why we created the Green Counter. With this tool, you are aware of the number of sheets of paper you helped saving by using TagMyDoc. The more you tag documents, the higher will get the number of your Green Counter.

TagMyDoc can now connect with your cloud storage services such as Dropbox and Box.

  • TagMyDoc is now a social network for your documents! The new social features includes:

    • The possibility of commenting on other user’s documents.

    • The possibility to follow a document; a feature that allows you to stay connected to the most recent & reliable content of a document through a well-designed notification system and multiple versioning possibilities.

    • Share the presentation via email or through several social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Google+)

  • Social IDs: Make sure to go to your sidebar and create your social profile, which is composed of a username and password of your choice. By creating your Social ID, you’ll have the privilege of accessing all social and collaborative features mentioned above! When scanning a document, you’ll be able to comment directly on it, and follow all its notifications and version updates! Brilliantly convenient!

  • Microsoft’s New Add-In: Free of charge, you can now download the TagMyDoc application for Microsoft Word. It allows you toTag and store your documents directly from your Word toolbar, instantly convert them to a PDF version to benefit from optimal mobile efficiency and share them via email or social networks.

  • Quick Start Guides 2.0: Make sure to revisit our guides as they will help you navigate through all of TagMyDoc’s social features, including updating new versions of your documents, commenting on documents, and following documents to benefit from our well-designed notification system!

  • Although we haven’t been posting regularly on our blog, we’ve posted updates recently, and we encourage you to revisit it promptly. See our latest blog here blog.tagmydoc.com.

  • Redesigned the "My Documents" page for new features and improved speed. New features include:

    • Major speed improvements when managing your documents. Speed increases includes: browing in folders, filters, loading the page and deleting documents.

    • You can now sort by name, document size and date added. From A to Z or from Z to A.

    • You can add other people's documents into your account. This way you will always have a shortcut to documents you scan. It's like saving a bookmark with your browser!

  • We added this page to keep you up-to-date of all the changes done on TagMyDoc.com.

  • Made speed improvements in the document browser for users with a large number of documents.

  • By popular demand, you can easily bypass the download page and view the document directly by enabling the "Auto-Download" option under "Settings" in your Account Settings.

  • Improvements with the browser navigation when browsing your documents.

  • Made speed improvements when tagging your document.

  • You can now share your documents directly from the My Documents page without going to its settings page.

  • A "Share" button now appears on the top right of the document manager when you browse a folder.

  • For those of you working with OpenOffice.org or LibreOffice, we now support OpenDocument Format such as OpenDocument Text (.odt) & OpenDocument Presentation (.opd).

  • Corrected some minor bug fixes.

  • Added ability to download only the tag of the document so you can share it on any medium you like. Simply hover your mouse over the tag in the document's page and click on "Download Tag".

  • Corrected some bugs.

  • To all our users out there, the time has finally come! What you have all been waiting for (...drum roll!), tagging Excel files is now an available feature. It's up and running, and we encourage you to take advantage of it!

  • You can now tag several types of documents at the same time, in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. There are been minor difficulties in a few rare occasion, but our team is working hard on solving the problem promptly.

  • The tag (QR Code) is now a link, which means that when you click the tag in Word, PDF and PowerPoint, you will be redirected to the Download Page, where you will soon be able to leave comments.

  • Tags can be duplicated – If you tag a document that has previously been tagged, it won’t result in any problems.

  • A new updated version of ScanMyDoc is now available for Android device owners. We encourage you to download it to benefit from its optimal capacity with the My Scans Page.

  • A quick start guide is now available for all our users! We encourage you to read them, as they will probably answer some of your questions, and help you navigate easily through features of our website!

  • A new download page for desktop’s and a new “My Scans” page were also created. They are easier to use, and even more user-friendly! You’ll enjoy it, we promise!
